Here is a letter I have quickly drafted in response to Assemblyman Donnelly’s AB26:
Assemblyman Donnelly, as a fellow California Republican, I respectfully disagree with your proposed AB 26. Following SB 1070 in Arizona, the controversy and racial divisiveness it has caused Republicans in Arizona with the Latino communities hasn’t been good, and continuing down that path will not help us electorally in the future.
